Fall Fun

I sat in the stands at our high school football stadium. It was our fall sports teams’ kick-off pep rally and the twins—volleyball players—were jumping, yelling, and having a great time. As I watched the party around me, I couldn’t help but notice how good the field behind the girls looked. A summer of irrigation, fertilizer, love, and care had it looking awesome. Of course, not being able to play on it for over year probably helped, too.
