Biederman Redevelopment Ventures Retained For McNab House And Botanical Gardens Projects

Pompano Beach, Fla.—On March 3, 2025, the City of Pompano Beach, in partnership with the Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), retained Dan Biederman and his firm, Biederman Redevelopment Ventures (BRV), to provide expert guidance on the programming, operations, design, and revenue generation for the McNab House and Botanical Gardens.

BRV has extensive experience in collaborating with clients as they create or redevelop parks, public spaces, streetscapes, and mixed-use development public realms.

Biederman and his team will collaborate closely with CRA’s design partners, including Bermello Ajamil & Partners, an award-winning, internationally recognized architectural and engineering firm, to transform the park into a stunning botanical garden and an outdoor classroom that will serve the community and local schools.

At a recent meeting where the Master Plan was revealed to the community, Biederman outlined some of the planned programming, educational programs, and amenities, including gardening classes, arts and crafts classes, dance and music events, and dozens of children’s activities.

“The Pompano Beach CRA is honored to be collaborating with a world-class team of experts, including BRV, to create a one-of-a-kind destination that will delight residents and visitors for generations,” says Nguyen Tran, CRA Director. “Our local residents’ participation, coupled with the visionary expertise of our team, has resulted in a master plan for a truly remarkable space that will be a source of pride for our city.”

“The Community Redevelopment Agency of Pompano Beach has moved boldly to create a new great space in its city— moving an historic structure, planning a striking new botanical feature, and devising a new financing and management setup to make sure this park is adequately funded,” says Biederman.

McNab Park is being transformed from an underutilized neighborhood park into a lush and activated educational botanical garden with interactive features for all ages. The garden is creatively designed to have a garden for each of the five senses for guests to engage with. A key feature of the site will include The McNab House, built in 1926, which is being converted into a restaurant. McNab Park will become a destination and economic development opportunity for the City of Pompano.
