Five pre-teen girls whipped through the trees on their bikes at Austin Badger Park in Montville Township, Ohio—whooping and hollering as they dipped and dove through the 3.6-mile flow trail. As they paused for a breath and a sip of water, they chatted (yelled) about who fell and who “got air” before quickly moving to arguing about how the line-up was going to change.
“It doesn’t matter who goes first,” I said. “Everybody’s riding the same trail, just relax and enjoy it.”
As they tried to decide how far they could push me—I have a strict no-fighting policy—a Dad and his teenage son rode by. They smiled at us.
