The recently opened River Ranch County Park immerses visitors in nature

In the Texas Hill Country, between the cities of Leander and Liberty Hill, the new River Ranch County Park preserves and conserves over 1,350 acres of former ranch land along the South Fork San Gabriel River. Owned and operated by Williamson County Parks & Recreation, the land offers more than 20 miles of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails, providing opportunities for park users to spot some of the most elusive wildlife in Texas. The park contains both tent and RV campsites as well as pavilions, picnic tables, restrooms, a playground, and space for outdoor games like horseshoes.
